We’ve added yet another innovation to audio post production by creating an all-digital audio path from the field recorder to the mixing stage. If you recorded your audio digitally, you can keep that pristine digital audio through your complete post production process by utilizing the OMF conversion utility. We can take the digital audio from your Avid offline system directly into a ProTools session for finishing. Your audio never goes back to tape. Even if your audio is not all digital, you can still save time and money with OMF. Audio tracks prepared as part of your off-line edit, can be exported directly to Pro Tools, eliminating the necessity of rebuilding your audio in on-line or a separate audio pre-lay session.
